What is an Allergy?
An allergy is a condition where our immune system reacts to an external substance. The substance that causes the body to have a reaction is called allergen. Our bodies can have an allergic reaction to allergens that are eaten, touched, or inhaled. Allergies affect approximately 1 in 4 individuals.
